Emil Brolick is an operating partner with ACP, where he focuses on investments in both the restaurant and broader consumer sectors and serves on the board of directors of Tacala and Cotton Patch Cafe, ACP portfolio companies.
Previously, Emil served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of the Wendy’s Company, from 2011 to 2016. Emil successfully led initiatives to significantly grow sales and profitability while implementing an asset light model of increased franchised ownership. Prior to Wendy’s, Emil held several senior leadership positions at YUM! Brands, Inc. including President of Taco Bell, President of US Brand Building, Chief Operating Officer and President of Long John Silver/ A&W. Prior to joining YUM! Brands in 2000, he served as Senior Vice President of Wendy’s International Inc. Emil currently serves on the board of The University of Detroit Mercy, is a Life Member of The Boys and Girls Clubs of America Board of Governors and is a board trustee of The Leelanau Conservancy.
Emil received B.S. and M.A. degrees from the University of Detroit.
