Fernando Roland is an Operating Partner with Altamont Capital. Previously, he served as President of the Americas for Continental A.G.’s industrial products business. He has also served as Chief Executive Officer of Associated Spring, a private equity-backed industrial platform, and as President of the Industrial Process Division at ITT Inc. (NYSE), and held senior roles at DuPont and Hyosung Corporation earlier in his career.
Fernando has more than 20 years of experience advising and leading global manufacturing and industrial businesses across the Americas, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East. He holds deep expertise in operations, M&A, and driving growth across a range of end markets including automotive, industrial, aerospace & defense, energy, and mining. He has led businesses spanning multi-continent footprints and managed large, complex organizations through periods of significant change and growth.
Fernando earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Manchester and a Master of Science in Strategic and Economic Business Management from FGV in Brazil. He is a native Portuguese speaker and is fluent in English, Spanish, and French.
