Matt Hennessy is an Operating Partner at Altamont Capital Partners. Matt provides strategic and operational support across the firm’s portfolio, collaborating with management teams to cultivate successful businesses.
Before joining ACP, Matt served in a variety of roles including corporate strategy, consultative analytics, and business development with startups and growth stage businesses. Matt’s work driving strategic initiatives and establishing scalable business processes notably contributed to the success of an early-stage startup through acquisition.
Prior to his roles as an operator, Matt began his career in management consulting at EY-Parthenon. With EY-Parthenon, Matt specialized in M&A engagements, supporting private equity clients with industrials, business services, and technology transactions.
Matt earned his M.B.A from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A., cum laude, in Math and Economics from Williams College.
