Paul Wagner is an Operating Partner for ACP, where he sources, evaluates and supports investments in the Engineering, Architecture and Construction sectors. Paul has a diverse and comprehensive knowledge of the engineering and construction business including strategic business planning and growth, client management, operational transformation and efficiency, project delivery, and M&A analysis and integration.
Prior to joining ACP, Paul served as one of four SVP’s responsible for the US Infrastructure business for the Chicago based Walsh Construction Group. Paul was specifically responsible for the Northeast Division and establishing a permanent New York Metro Operation which, among numerous projects, notably served as a joint venture partner to deliver the new $4.2B LaGuardia Airport Terminals A and B and associated infrastructure.
In the engineering and architecture sector, Paul served as Vice President and Chief of Operations for Jacobs North American Infrastructure Group where he was responsible all project operations, driving process improvements to ensure margin delivery and served as the Project Executive on numerous signature infrastructure projects across the US including the Port of Miami Tunnel, the Ohio River Downtown Crossing and East End Crossing in Louisville, Kentucky. Paul is experienced in M&A, leading and serving on numerous due diligence teams and led the integration of a 500-person multidiscipline A&E firm Jordan Jones and Goulding based in Atlanta. Paul came to Jacobs by way of acquisition in 2007 where he was part of the ownership group for the 1200-person A&E firm Edwards and Kelcey. Paul obtained international experience while working for Raytheon Engineers and Constructors in the Middle East and Australia.
Paul is a licensed professional engineer in New York, New Jersey and Delaware and received his Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Delaware.
