Donna DeGrande

Donna DeGrande is an Operating Partner at Altamont Capital Partners, partnering with deal teams and portfolio company executives to strengthen people strategy, build scalable HR operations, and accelerate value creation through talent. She plays a hands-on role across the investment lifecycle, including HR due diligence, post-close integration, and ongoing operational support in areas such as HR compliance and risk management, workforce planning, recruiting strategy, and benefits design and optimization. Donna also leads ACP’s HR Leadership Network, driving alignment on best practices, policy consistency, and legal and regulatory readiness across the portfolio.

Donna brings extensive operational and organizational expertise across technology, life sciences, semiconductor, communications, private equity, manufacturing, retail, non-profit, transportation, financial services, and global service sectors. Her former executive HR leadership roles supported organizations at every stage of growth, from innovative start-ups to large, complex, multi-site enterprises.

Prior to joining Altamont, Donna was the Founder and CEO of HR Solutions Partners, a full-service human resources consulting and recruiting firm she built into a trusted partner for companies throughout Northern California, delivering both day-to-day HR operations and specialized talent solutions.
Donna holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Development from the University of San Francisco. She has been recognized as a Santa Clara County Woman of Achievement finalist and is an alumna of Leadership California.
